The classic short safari — Big Five game drives in the Maasai Mara, with a full day in the reserve.
The Maasai Mara National Reserve in Narok, Kenya, was established in 1961. It is home to the Big Five and to one of the world’s great natural wonders — the Great Migration.
This safari takes you through some of Kenya’s most breathtaking landscapes in a Land Cruiser, getting you close to the wildlife with an experienced local guide. Add a hot-air balloon ride over the Mara for the experience of a lifetime.

Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi → Maasai Mara
Early morning pickup from your hotel or the airport and a drive through the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at the lodge or camp for lunch, then head out on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight in the Maasai Mara.
Day 2: Full day game drive
A full day on safari with a picnic lunch, searching for lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards and rhinos. Optional visit to a Maasai village. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Maasai Mara → Nairobi
Morning game drive, breakfast, then the drive back to Nairobi with drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
