African Heritage House Tour

A living museum of African art and architecture, overlooking Nairobi National Park.

Built between 1989 and 1994, the African Heritage House is a national monument and a living museum. It was designed by Alan Donovan, co-founder of the African Heritage Pan African galleries, and draws on the mud architecture of Mali’s mosques, Moroccan palaces and the Swahili houses of the East African coast.

Tours run every day and work best for groups of four or more. Ask us about the house’s connection to the supermodel Iman.
